- What is the difference between Heard and Marble?
- Marble describes itself as an autonomous back of house and a self-driving operating system for restaurant groups, sold by demo. Heard runs the service line, with a live 86 board, a live prep list, recipes and pass-down notes, and it is free during the beta, with no sales call.
- How much does Marble cost?
- Marble does not publish pricing. As of October 13, 2026 its pricing page was not found and the only path was booking a demo. Heard publishes its prices: Starter is $49 CAD per month per kitchen and Pro is $99 CAD per month per kitchen.
- Is Marble only for restaurant groups?
- No. Marble lists independent restaurants, cafes and bars as well as franchise groups and hospitality groups.
- Does Heard do inventory, ordering or scheduling?
- No. Heard does not count inventory, place purchase orders or schedule staff. Marble lists inventory counting, demand forecasting, purchase orders, employee scheduling and timesheets.
- Does Heard work for more than one location?
- Yes, on Enterprise, which puts multiple locations under one account with unlimited staff. Enterprise is priced by quote. Starter and Pro are billed per kitchen.
