THE STORY
Every kitchen runs on calls. Most of them get lost.
Heard started as a fix for a problem Logan lived with every shift. Working in a kitchen, the calls that mattered — an item 86’d, a prep task claimed, a note for the morning crew — went onto whiteboards, sticky notes, and group chats that had scrolled away by the time anyone needed them.
So he built the tool he wanted at the pass: one live model of the kitchen, on every phone on the line. The menu and the 86 board are the same surface. Prep shows who owns what. Pass-downs are signed and timestamped. Roux answers from the kitchen’s own recipes and shows where it looked.
Heard was designed and built around real service — between prep and the first ticket, after close, on days off. Every screen is shaped by what actually gets used mid-service: big tap targets, high contrast, fast loads, and nothing to install.
